The State of the City

All is quite in the City of Hialeah. The Christmas lights are up, los arbolitos estan prendidos, and the "Caja China" is being prepared for Noche Buena is around the corner. This year the politicos in Hialeah will be unnerved because el padrino politico de Hialeah was lied to and cheated out of a seat in Washington, D.C. Word has it that Mayor Robaina has lost a significant amount of weight since the election because he will face the concern of loss of political support. Rest easy, for hell will be unleashed soon...

MAYOR RAUL MARTINEZ VS CONGRESSMAN LINCOLN DIAZ-BALART

As many of you may know already the great administrator and retired Mayor of the City of Hialeah, Raul Martinez, is challenging Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart. This is sure to be a great race, as it will test loyalties in the great City of Hialeah. There seems not to be a clear front runner in this race as of yet, however in the next few months leading up to the August primaries those who have elected to stay out and not endorse either candidate for fear of political retaliation will have to step up to the plate and decide where their loyalties lie. There are many factors that put Mayor Martinez over the top in this race, but one of the most important ones is the one that Diaz-Balart could never live up to and that is that Mayor Martinez is a man of his word and he does what he says he will do. But, I am only one voice here and would welcome people to post and share their opinions on this race and share any recommendations they believe will benefit there community feel free to post it here.
